Here's something new. I thought I'd start a new category, where on Tuesdays, I'd post songs I'm currently listening to. I'm not sure if I'll do this every Tuesdays, or once a month, but we'll see how it goes. This could be the one and only Tune-y Tuesday post, you just never know.
If you're lucky, I may just put a playlist together. Update: I finally figured out how to create a playlist!
Polish Girl / Neon Indian
I love this song, not because Paul is Polish. It has no reference to Poland whatsoever. I have yet to download Neon Indian's new CD Era Extrana. I didn't know this, but they're actually from Denton, Texas.
Trojans / Atlas Genius
This is the first single from this Aussie band. The first time I heard it, I was hooked.
Junk of the Heart (Happy) / The Kooks
I couldn't get enough of their first CD, Inside In/Inside Out, so I was excited when they released this song off of their third album. Yet another catchy and happy song.
Machu Picchu / The Strokes
This song just makes me want to be on the beach, preferably with a drink in hand. Machu Picchu though would be a site to see.
King Without A Crown / Matisyahu
This is actually an old one but just recently heard it on XM Radio. I love reggae music. Reminds me of Jamaica 'mon. Matisyahu is an American Hasidic Jewish reggae musician. This single was released back in 2005. I have no idea what he's saying, but I like the beats.
Let me know what you think about Tune-y Tuesdays. Lame? You like? Heard of a good song lately? Send them my way!
