dublin, ireland (part 2)

We continued on to St. Patrick's Cathedral, about a block away from Dublin Castle.

And last but not least, we finished our tour at the Guinness Storehouse at St. James's Gate Brewery!  This one was for Paul!

 Look at all that barley!

The tour takes you through seven floors.  They start out by sharing the company's origin and roots, then goes through their brewing process and advertising.  On one floor, they even have experts who will teach you how to pour the perfect pint.  The very top floor is where they have their Gravity Bar.  Here, you can sit and enjoy your complimentary pint of Guinness as you take in the panoramic 360 degree view of the city of Dublin.

Lucky for this guy, he was double fisting it since I couldn't have my pint.

Next time we're in Dublin, I WILL have mee pint of Guinness!

  1. St. Patrick's Cathedral is gorgeous! I can't believe you were allowed to take pictures inside! And that clover in the Guinness is some fancy stuff.

    1. Yeah, you even had to pay to get in, which I thought was weird. I wish we took the class on how to learn how to pour a perfect pint. I think they showed you how to do one of those clovers.

  2. WOW! I walked by St. Patrick's Cathedral but we didn't go in. I'll definitely make a point to do that next time I'm there (hopefully sooner than later!.

Did Paul get two pints since you couldn't use your free drink pass?
