cold and wet

That about sums up our weekend.  It was too cold and wet to really do anything outdoors.  Paul was able to put the Christmas lights up Saturday morning, right before it started pouring.

Sadly, I took very few Instagram pics this weekend.  My small group of followers must be thanking me!

I rocked my Minnetonka moccasins Saturday, despite the rain.  Probably wasn't a good idea but my feet managed to stay dry.

We had dinner at Cyclone Anaya's.  It's become one of our favorite Mexican restaurants since they opened one close to our house.  We usually judge a good Mexican restaurant by their salsa, and theirs is a winner.  They change up their drinks menu every month, so this time, I tried their Cranberry Ginger Margarita, and it was oh so yummy.  Very appropriate for the holidays.  Paul had a mojito and it was really good too.  And let's not forget their food - so good.  I can't remember what Paul ordered, but it had steak and OMG it was so soft and delicious.  They are a little pricier than other Mexican restaurants, but it's so worth it.

Sunday, we didn't leave the house at all.  I got caught up on Glee, bundled up in my awesome snuggie.  Sometimes, you just need days where you do absolutely nothing.  I also started my art projects for Christmas, which I'll be posting soon.  One is super easy.  The other one is going to take a little longer than I'd hoped.

How was your weekend?
