tune-y tuesday | christmas playlist

No matter what time of the year, Christmas songs always make me smile.  They bring back such fond memories of Christmas past.  Here are a few of my favorites.  There are so many good ones to choose from, but there's always next year.  Sorry, most of them are cheesy pop artists.  I grew up in the 90s, what can I say.  I hope this brings a little Christmas cheer in your day.  Enjoy!

The Christmas Song / The Carpenters
The Carpenters Christmas "tape" was on almost every morning leading up to Christmas day.  This is probably my favorite Christmas song of all time.  There are many versions of this song, but it doesn't beat the Carpenters.

Baby It's Cold Outside / Jessica Simpson
I loved this song when Zooey Dechanel sang it in the movie Elf ("I'm singing!"). 

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas / She & Him
A classic with a new version by She & Him from their A Very She & Him Christmas album.  Must get me a copy!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays / N'Sync
Umm, yeah, this was pretty much the bomb back then!  Don't care how corny it is.  JT - I still love you, even though you've become quite a d-bag over the years.  Or you always have been, I was just blind.

Feliz Navidad / Jose Feliciano

This is Paul's favorite!  It also reminds me of Grade 7 when we learned how to salsa to this song for our Christmas play.  Weird.

Also enjoyed this Christmas album (called Christmas Interpretations - so deep) very much.

Kenny G's Miracles CD was also on repeat during the holidays.  My parents would wake us up with this on full blast.  Wish I could turn back time...
